BUYING Brands to Watch, Buyers' Briefing Buyers' Picks SEASONS OF CHOICE The volume of new product arriving during the A/W 17 period decreased across apparel, footwear and accessories by 7.5% YOY in the UK, and by 3.2% in the US. This was largely led by the accessory category which saw the biggest decreases across regions. In the UK, accessories new-ins were down by 11.3% YOY, and in the US, accessories decreased by 12.3%. Categories suffering the largest decrease in new product offering compared with last year include bags, jewellery and watches, down in both UK and US online markets.. |
